I recently searched YouTube to see if anyone posted anything about software updates for the Infiniti Q50. Well the video above shows the pre-software update and the post-software update. View the video to see the difference between the two.

• When I enter the car I would like it if the radio screen stayed displayed and not revert back to the main screen. (this would be a great “user” setting)
• I really don’t understand why there are two ways to change the temperature in the car (climate button & side temperature buttons) it should be one or the other.
• When I go to change the radio station and I scroll past the six main channels it would be great if the next panel of stations showed up on the screen if I start venturing into the next set of stations. Example: If I go past channel six onto channel seven it should then show that panel of stations.
• The loading of apps should not take as long as they do! It’s a bit ridiculous for a car with this much technology to be as slow as it is.
• The back up indicators need to be displayed the second I put my car in reverse not after they load in the system.
• Prevent the passenger seat from shaking while going over bumps or rail road tracks.
• The main thing that bothered me the most when I purchased the car was the lack of apps! I truly thought that there was going to be more than two or three measly apps.

I recently did a post titled: Infiniti Q50 InTouch Apps – Where are they? Which is a post about images and websites where I found mentions of the “Music Apps” on the InTouch system for the Infinit Q50. Well while doing more research to see if there were any new updates pertaining to the InTouch, I stumbled across this PDF/PowerPoint Presentation that clearly shows these apps: Twitter, Pandora, iHeartRadio as well the useless Facebook and Google apps. Granted there is mention that says “Mobile Apps coming soon“.

While doing a little bit more research I found mentions that this site Airbiquity.com is what the InTouch system uses for the apps within their system. On the link provided if you view the “OEM App Policy Control Via Portal” image you’ll see that just above the check boxes there are apps (Facebook, Yelp, Pandora, iHeartRadio, etc.) that appear to be accessible to use.

In my opinion the best thing to do is to bring this to the attention of Infiniti via twitter! Here are the twitter accounts for @Infiniti and @Airbiquity.

The above video shows some of the apps that are used with the Infiniti Q50 InTouch system. Please note I didn’t create the video I just found the video while searching for Infiniti Q50 InTouch apps. I was hoping that there were more than two apps for the Infiniti InTouch.

I can only imagine as when the Pandora app or iHeartRadio app comes into play because, the current loading message says “Loading apps…” and it takes 30-40 seconds to disappear. As of now there are currently no Audio Apps (Pandora, iHeartRadio, etc) even-though the InTouch system has a spot the says “All Audio Apps”.

However, I’ve researched and found images of Infiniti Q50’s with the Pandora and iHeartRadio apps on the InTouch display screen:

• Pandora & iHeartRadio app – (actual photo?)
• iHeartRadio app spotting – (looks like early artist rendering)
• Pandora Radio app spotting – (looks like early artist rendering)

Have you seen any “Audio Apps” that are used for the InTouch Infiniti Q50 system or if you know of any news about an upcoming release of apps for the InTouch system then feel free to leave a comment below to share with others.

I recently found a great Infiniti Q50 InTouch Dashboard simulator. The simulator allows you to test out the InTouch applications as well as the navigation feature. Now only if the real InTouch System would process as fast as the simulator.

Check out the Infiniti Q50 simulator and feel free to comment below on how you feel about it. One other thing I noticed is that the the simulator doesn’t have Pandora® or iHeartRadio® either as it should be in the Q50.

I found the above video that shows how the email app works with the Infiniti Q50 InTouch system. Granted it’s not the iHeartRadio app or the Pandora app, yet it is still an app that IMO has no real reason to be in the car.

Lets now forget that the person in the video states that it “takes a long time to load“. Does anyone else have the same problem with their system being slow?
